Title: HRIS Analyst (Security / Reporting)
Location: Remote
Duration: Direct Hire
Compensation: $90,000 - $95,000 hourly
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in US

Job Summary:

The HRIS Analyst will provide functional and technical system support in all areas of the Workday HCM System.  The incumbent in this position needs to be a subject matter expert in all aspects of Workday Security, with extensive knowledge in the areas of Business Processes, Reporting and Configuration. The HRIS Analyst will lead complex initiatives, conduct research on issues/concerns and mentor junior team members.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in the current Workday HCM applications (Security, Reporting, Business Processes, Job Requisition, APIs, XML, and data extracts/transmissions)
  • Provide security design, configuration, testing and deployment of Workday security into production
  • Conduct report reviews and analysis, including understanding and ensuring security and data privacy standards
  • Create, edit and remove organization security roles for the system and provide support for issues relating to user-based, role based, domain security and business process security Policies in Workday
  • Understands Workday security domains and how to maintain security on business processes
  • Proficient in Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields and Dashboards preferred
  • Support Workday feature release updates and enhancements
  • Responsible for troubleshooting technical problems, analyzing errors and diagnosing appropriate resolution with nominal or no supervision
  • Responsible for providing recommendations to senior management for process and/or system improvements/enhancements
  • Provide daily operational support to end users in Workday
  • Responsible for conducting system testing for upgrades, UAT testing for customizations and/or other changes
  • Responsible for the support of internal and/or external audits relating to data residing on the Workday HCM and/or applicant tracking systems, as deemed necessary
  • Adept at working on multiple concurrent projects with nominal or no supervision. Able to educate, coach and oversee the activities of less experienced staff and other team members
  • Apply in-depth technical analysis to solve system and application issues
  • Demonstrate the ability to plan, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities. Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic work environment
  • Responsible for filing and record keeping of all requests for technical changes/enhancements to the system
  • Able to self-learn and develop skills as new functionality is delivered

Qualifications:
  • Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field
  • Workday HCM system experience 3+ Years
  • Relevant Human Resources Information Systems analyst experience 3+ years
  • Hands on Workday Security configuration experience 3+ years
  • Proficient in Workday application Security Administration
  • Workday Pro Certified (Security) is a huge plus
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • PC Skills of related software, including XML, REST, APIs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Access
  • Professional and effective interpersonal skills with high regard to confidentiality
  • Ability to learn quickly; self-motivated; high energy; strong work ethic
  • Ability to follow up on assignments and a good sense of judgement
  • Positive attitude
