: Regional IT Manager
Location:  Miramar, FL
Duration:  Direct Hire
Compensation:  Up to $125,000 Annually
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US

Qualifications:

 

  • Business application experience in collaboration, communication, ERP’s, CRM’s, and plant based operational systems
  • Working knowledge of the following systems a plus…IFS, Navision, SAGE, Macola, Exact, MS Teams, Salesforce, ServiceNow
  • All level of application support, from liaising with approved partners to third parties and the local business
  • Background in business relationship management, business process improvement, project management
  • Able to exercise independent judgement and act on it
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Able to persuade / influence stakeholders to drive optimization and standards
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply adopted knowledge in real world scenarios
  • Flexibility to work out of hours to support or implement changes to minimise disruption to the business
  • Wiling to travel to other sites for meetings and to support changes and rollouts where necessary
  • A minimum 10 years of experience in manager roles, preferably within the manufacturing and/or services industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge of an organization’s core business processes and operations, along with the strategic use of technology to grow a business
  • Demonstrated program management skills, including planning, and controlling processes
  • Understanding of application development and software development life cycle concepts
  • Ability to understand and communicate/present detailed and advanced business solutions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of core IT services and service performance and monitoring
  • Ability to communicate up and down the management chain, providing the appropriate level of detail and focus on the right information

Responsibilities:

 

  • Will be the face of IT and the main contact for the business for their region.  
  • As such, they will establish and maintain relationships with Americas business leaders to increase the value realized from IT assets, investments, and capabilities.  
  • They are part of the Global IT group that brings IT solutions and services to the Americas business.  
  • Needs to have significant understanding of and knowledge in subject matters pertaining to both IT and the business to lead the deployments of global solutions into the Americas. 
  • This will include liaising with third parties and understanding core business processes to ensure solutions implemented result in positive business outcomes. 
  • This role will also seek to identify regional IT needs and envisage local business solutions.  
  • Manage relationships and services with the IT service partners with the aim to maximize the potential and capacity of the service overall. 
  • Continual service improvement is central to this role, including working with counterparts in Group IT to realize any improvements identified
  • Maintain a high degree of visibility within the region, attending business meetings and appropriate management forums, to support their ambitions and align these with group strategy, initiatives, and solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for IT to better support the business and promote IT as a trusted business partner
  • Assess the potential of emerging technologies and innovation ideas that could be applied within the region
  • Work closely with the regional leaders to support them through technology planning, advising on how to exploit existing technologies, and ensuring alignment with the Group strategy.
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of the key IT services, and manage and influence demand for IT services at the regional level
  • During an exciting phase in the company lifecycle, where standardisation and consolidation is key, the Regional IT Manager will work with all parties in removing legacy processes, systems and embed core functions and strategy into the regional business for which they are responsible.
  • This role will be responsible for the smooth IT operations for all the Americas, will have excellent communication and written skills, as they document and transition commodity support services to the groups preferred partner network,  embed the companies standard IT processes, and work with the project teams locally and globally to improve business processes.
  • Ensure that all services are provided at optimal levels by our partners
  • Investigate escalated issued to diagnose and allocate to correct team for resolution, or investigate and solve the problem directly (escalation point)
  • Work with the business on process improvement and to maximize value from an application (training, functions, enhancement, development)
  • Engage Group IT service capability (people, process and technology) effectively to support continual service improvements
  • Coordination with Service Desk, and transition 1st line support into Service Desk
  • Working within a team and being able to self-motivate
  • Provide a level of local application management and support or co-ordinate required hands-on support
  • Being an advocate for upholding standards, policies and the 3rd party service levels
  • Work with solution architects to define best app for task
  • Ensure software legal compliance within the region
  • Vendor management incl. vendor escalation (where possible)
  • Review and approval of purchase orders and IT expenses
  • Ensure KB articles are up to date and followed
  • Admin, Control & Compliance of Applications in coverage area
  • Manage regions CAB, champion for Application changes
  • Work with Security and control teams to adhere and build standards
  • Approval of permissions & Access Control
