Title: System Admin- WINTEL SUPPORT TEAM 
Location: Miramar, FL
Duration: 6 months+
Compensation: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience using patch management solution such as Microsoft SCCM
  • NEED Linux, Hyper V, VM WARE, some cloud experience (Azure preferred  but AWS is fine) Looking for some Sql scripting knowledge - SCCM and Citrix a +
  • 5+ years of partnering with Infrastructure vendors such as; Microsoft, VMWare, HP Dell, IBM
  • REQUIRED SKILLS
  • 5+ years of experience directly engaged in performance tuning and optimization of server infrastructure
  • 5+ years of partnering with Infrastructure vendors such as; Microsoft, VMWare, HP Dell, IBM
  • 5+ years of experience using patch management solution such as Microsoft SCCM
  • Strong knowledge of remote server management and design concepts
  • Ability to serve as a technical resource for infrastructure and other projects
  • Ability to troubleshoot and help solve problems
  • Participate in 24/7 On-Call rotation
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, strong attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems, thinks outside of the box and grasps technical concepts
  • Strong team player who can work across multiple functions and disciplines
  • Subject matter expert in data protection technologies
  • Strong knowledge of network components (WAN and LAN)
Responsibilities:
  • The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for the management, support and enablement of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
  • This individual will partner with their peers to execute the daily activities of admin team.
  • This individual in conjunction with their peers will be responsible for the availability of the Infrastructure Applications environments.
  • This individual will enforce server hardware and operating system standards.
  • Expertise with provisioning and administering servers, operating systems, hardware, and related infrastructure utilities
  • Assist with the development of processes to automate repetive tasks within the team
  • Ability to serve as a technical resource on Infrastructure projects
  • Ability to troubleshoot and help solve problems
  • Participate in 24/7 on call rotation

Strategy (25%):

  • Manage and support tickets assigned to the Level 2 queue for Infrastructure Application solutions
  • Ensure maximum uptime of server environments and hardware by following a standard process and offering suggestions on way to improve
  • Responsible for maximizing the uptime of physical and virtual server compute environments through auxiliary tools, automation and process improvement
  • Work with engineers, solution leads and peers to optimize Infrastructure solutions
  • Contribute to the development of a preventive maintenance program and follow once implemented
  • Track and manage agreed service levels of responsible areas
  • Create measures for successful Infrastructural operations execution, including policies, processes, procedures and controls

Execution (60%):

  • Maintain and enhance the enterprise Infrastructure Application landscape
  • Understands a wide variety of systems and how they interact to provide a complete service to the customers and meet business requirements
  • Maintain knowledge of vendor solutions for the management of Infrastructure Applications including on premise and SaaS platforms.
  • Ensure the appropriate solutions are developed to meet business compute requirements
  • Partner with 3rd party vendors such as; Microsoft, VMWare, Citrix, ...
  • Responsible for ensuring proper deployment of new hardware/software including servers

Building Capabilities (15%):

  • Manage the full lifecycle and maintain currency of the environment
  • Maintain an Infrastructure Application environment that is stable, secure, scalable, and cost effective
  • Maintain accurate detailed system and environment documentation for areas of responsibility
  • Provide quick and timely updates to work tickets, incidents and outages
