 Enterprise Agile Coach  
Location: Charlotte, NC

Coach and support multiple teams concurrently in the adoption of Agile/Scrum for IT projects. Evaluate and mentor existing teams. Develop and deliver training workshops for product owners, teams, and stakeholders, both in the classroom and using web-based training technology. Author process instruction and related materials to effectively achieve consistent execution by end users. Promote application of Agile principles and values and their application through popular methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc). Provide support for Agile Lifecycle Management tools. Own and manage process improvement initiatives as projects including integration with process partners and other PMO functions. Drive continuous improvement of IT Project Delivery processes by advocating agility. Work with PM Community and IT leaders/process owners to identify common opportunities for improvement, prioritize opportunities, and develop/deploy solutions or process changes. Leverage internal and external resources to define ''best in class'' processes and supporting technologies. Ensure continued alignment and synergy between process improvement strategies/plans and other IT strategic objectives/initiatives. Define and implement methods to measure process improvement benefits after changes are implemented.


Lead and direct team members to achieve process improvement objectives. Level Scope: Has thorough understanding of business and technology concepts required for specialized field (Agile, Project Management, SDLC). Demonstrated expertise in Agile principles and values and their application through predominant methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc). Provides work leadership to others. Interfaces with senior management to provide and obtain information and to build consensus regarding project direction.


Education and Experience: BS and 5+ years of experience delivering technology solutions, with 2+ years of demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master, Coach, or Agile PM role. Experience working on waterfall projects, preferably in a Project Management or Business Analyst Role. CSM, CSPO, Professional Scrum Master, or PMI-ACP Certification. Experience with enterprise Agile Lifecycle Management platforms (VersionOne, Rally, Jira, RTC). Experience with or working understanding of Agile at Scale (SAFe, DAD, LeSS) preferred. Communications: Deep understanding of communication styles and techniques, group dynamics and coaching/mentoring. Develops unique strategies to promote the effectiveness of the group. Maintains clear and open communications with project teams members and customers. Teamwork: Creates a climate of collaboration and teamwork among team members and customer groups. Ensures that all members of the team and those with whom they interact build relationships and trust to achieve business objectives. Knowledge Application: Is able to effectively relate his/her technical expertise to varying organizational needs; knows when and how the technical content can be legitimately tailored to fit different departments and customer needs. Business Acumen: Efficiently applies topical knowledge and expertise to make significant solutions for customer groups and the entire business. Recognizes the value of a multi-industry perspective and applies best practices to create innovative solutions. Flexibility: Determines process and priorities based on the requirements of a situation. Quickly adapts approach as the situation changes. Problem Solving: Applies a systematic problem-solving approach to gather needed information, evaluate alternatives, develop contingencies, and prioritize actions. Generates sound solutions for complex business problems; anticipates obstacles and establishes next steps. Works with the customer to involve the right people; solicits input, knows and plans for stakeholder impact. Initiative: Sees the opportunity to act and make a difference. Takes the initiative to do so without over-analyzing or waiting until it is too late. Willing to accept short term solutions that meet critical and immediate needs, but may not be perfect for the long run so that projects and systems can move forward.
