Title: Product Analyst
Location: Orlando, FL
Duration:  3-6 month with possible extension
Compensation:  $20-$22/hr
Work Requirements: Authorized to Work in the US

Remote to start.  Will be onsite in Orlando once offices open up

 

Key Skills:

- Take business requirement from Product team and transfer to the technical team

- Must have experience with Content Management

- Must be very detail oriented

 

Job Summary

Product owner for digital technology needs and long-term strategy. As the technical product owner, this will include working closely with the technology, production and business teams to understand the needs and translate them into meaningful requirements for development and delivery. Analyzes digital impacts and responds to user requested new development and system modifications. Tools such as Jira and Confluence will be used to document end user as well as technical requirements, to ensure project development follows along with digital strategy and maintainability standards.

 

 

Essential Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate must be extremely detailed oriented, organized, possess strong leadership and influencing skills, exceptional communication skills, have a digital background, and a general understanding of Agile software development methodology. Able to perform a needs analysis to help output of workflow design, process documentation and delivery.

 An expertise in various technology domains will be counted on to set strategic direction and solve complex and mission critical problems within the digital space.

 Analyst will work in conjunction with Architects and Engineers to design, develop and support new end user systems supporting digital capabilities and enhancing current experiences while understanding the needs of the end user.

 An expertise in various technology domains will be counted on to set strategic direction and solve complex and mission critical problems while foreseeing potential issues that may arise.

Candidate needs to be a good team player yet able to work independently to drive results.

 Candidate needs to be relationship driven and work well with other teams to drive collaboration and change across disciplines.

  

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

State the specific levels of the following that are needed to perform the minimum duties of the job. 

 Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Operations or related field

       Training requirements

    • Certified ScrumMaster/Product Owner training (preferred)

       

  1. Knowledge and skills
    • Experience with requirement gathering or technical writing and user stories
    • 3 years of experience in software development life cycle
    • 3 years of experience with Agile framework
    • 3 years of experience with supporting or developing digital enterprise solutions
    • Detail-oriented and analytical
    • Able to prioritize and react quickly to changes
    • Ability to manage multiple projects at multiple stages and budgets
    • Organized and able to hold other accountable for delivering project milestones on time
    • Experience within the travel/tourism/hospitality industry
    • Some exposure to call center/customer service/operational responsibilities
    • Familiarity with CSS

       

  2. Technical Skills
    • Familiarity with JIRA
    • Familiarity with AEM or similar CMS (preferred)
    • Familiarity with Zurb or development frameworks (preferred)
    • Basic development experience (preferred)

       

  3. Job experience
    • 3 years of experience in software development life cycle
    • 3 years of experience with Agile framework
    • 5 years of experience with supporting or developing digital enterprise solutions

 

Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
